Just a fun shoot while waiting for the bus (29 north) at Dufferin subway station. This was in a back ally beside the station.
Toronto
Caught sight of Paul Mariner, head coach of Toronto FC (TFC), this morning on my way to work. He was checking his smart phone one last time before head down to catch the subway at St. Andrews Station at King and University. My guess is that he’s heading off on a weekend road trip with the team. Cannot recall where TFC is playing this weekend, but I know its not here in Toronto.
They were handing out free FAXE beer after the Toronto FC game tonight. Who is going to say no to FREE beer? Not I!!! Now since I have never tasted FAXE beer before I can’t say if its a good pickup or not. At least TFC won tonight! Time to head home!
After 90 minutes (plus 4 minutes of extra time) Toronto FC comes out on top winning 3 – 2. A last minute goal by Terry Dunfield in extra time gave the home side something to really get excited about. Particularly when it was only their 3rd win of the season (after 17 games). As a TFC supporter you can only think positively about going forward. Playoffs maybe out of the question but there is still lots of time to cause some trouble around the league.
A beautiful Wednesday evening! Ready to watch the boys in red take on Vancouver. First we must warm up. Come on you REDS!!!!
Heading to Toronto island via the Billy Bishop ferry. Beautiful day and a great shot of the downtown core.
Happy Canada Day!!!
At Queen East and Greenwood Ave, I couldn’t agree more with the sign. Now I’m craving bacon!
Not much I can say about this. Walked past the group on my way home from work this evening and couldn’t resist taking a shot.
CONCACAF World Cup qualification game at BMO Field as part of the 2nd round. This was the last game of the round robin in which Canada (canMNT) had already qualified for the next round. Was still fun to watch Canada win 4-0. The image is of DeRo scoring on a PK for the second goal of the night. Photo taken from section 116, row 5, seat 19.
Taking a walk along the boardwalk in the Beach area of Toronto.
Happy Thanksgiving Monday!
